Mondragon Team Academy has been invited by the High Commissioner of Spain to participate in the Entrepreneurial Nation Summit to be hosted by the Spanish Pavilion in Dubai.

That the entrepreneurship model of Mondragon Team Academy – Mondragon Unibertsitatea has crossed borders and has become a unique example of international export among universities, thanks to the implementation of entrepreneurship laboratories in Mexico, China, South Korea and Germany, is a fact. The university’s participation in the events programmed by the Spanish High Commission at the Dubai World Expo is a qualitative leap that demonstrates its leadership and the success of Mondragon Unibertsitatea’s ‘learning by doing’ entrepreneurship model.
The participation of Mondragon Team Academy – Mondragon Unibertsitatea will take place on Thursday at 12:30 pm and the speaker will be Aitor Lizartza Martin, one of the founders of the international entrepreneurship network of Mondragon Unibertsitatea, Mondragon Team Academy and coordinator of entrepreneurship MTA in the Faculty of Business.
LEINN, a case of success
The Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation Degree model (LEINN) is at the heart of this successful model. The LEINN effect is very striking and its spread around the world is an unusual phenomenon in academia. Thirteen years after its launch, more than 200 young people from all over the world have been trained in the only degree that exists internationally that brings together knowledge in entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation, the Degree in Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation, LEINN, which the Business School of Mondragon Unibertsitatea has been offering since 2009.
The LEINN formula has worked with resounding success, which has allowed the degree to spread around the world through the 10 innovation laboratories that Mondragon Unibertsitatea has spread throughout Europe, America and Asia. It is a perfect example of innovation applied to training. A degree based on the methodology ‘learning by doing’ in teams, where students set their learning path with a team coach who helps them to solve their doubts and where from the first day they have to create a real company, with real customers, real products and services and with real income. The international community of Mondragon Team Academy is made up of more than 3,000 entrepreneurs, with more than 120 team companies created in LEINN.
Expo Dubai y Spain Entrepreneurial Nation Summit
Under the theme “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”, Expo Dubai is set to be the first major post-COVID global meeting place to discuss building a better world and a better future. For 6 months and in person, representatives from more than 190 countries will meet in Dubai until March 31 to reflect on the future of the planet. The Spain Entrepreneurial Nation Summit will be held on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 February, one day after the celebration of Spain Day at Expo Dubai.
Que el modelo de emprendimiento de Mondragon Team Academy – Mondragon Unibertsitatea ha traspasado fronteras y se ha convertido en un ejemplo único de exportación internacional entre las universidades, gracias a la implantación de laboratorios de emprendimiento en Mexico, China, Corea del Sur y Alemania, es un hecho. La participación de la universidad dentro de los actos programados por el Alto Comisionado de España en la Exposición Universal de Dubái es un salto cualitativo que demuestra su liderazgo y el éxito del modelo de emprendimiento ‘learning by doing’.
La cumbre sobre el emprendimiento tendrá lugar el jueves y el viernes de esta semana. Concretamente la participación de Mondragon Team Academy – Mondragon Unibertsitatea tendrá lugar el jueves a las 12:30 horas y el interlocutor será Aitor Lizartza Martín, uno de los fundadores de la red de emprendimiento internacional de Mondragon Unibertsitatea, Mondragon Team Academy y coordinador de emprendimiento MTA en la Facultad de Empresariales de Mondragon Unibertsitatea.
LEINN, un caso de éxito
El modelo del Grado en Liderazgo Emprendedor e Innovación, LEINN, está en el centro de este modelo exitoso. El efecto LEINN es muy llamativo y su propagación por el mundo es un fenómeno inusual en el ámbito académico. Trece años después de su puesta en marcha, más de 200 jóvenes de todo el mundo se han formado en el único grado que existe a nivel internacional que aglutina conocimientos en emprendimiento, liderazgo e innovación, el Grado en Liderazgo Emprendedor e Innovación, LEINN, que la Facultad de Empresariales de Mondragon Unibertsitatea imparte desde 2009.
La fórmula de LEINN ha funcionado con un éxito rotundo, lo que ha permitido que el grado se haya propagado por el mundo a través de los 10 laboratorios (en los que en ocho se desarrolla LEINN) de innovación que Mondragon Unibertsitatea tiene repartidos por Europa, América y Asia. Se trata de un perfecto ejemplo de la innovación aplicada a la formación. Un grado basado en la metodología ‘aprender haciendo’ en equipo, donde los alumnos se marcan su itinerario de aprendizaje con un entrenador de equipo que les ayuda a resolver sus dudas y donde desde el primer día tienen que crear una empresa real, con clientes reales, productos y servicios reales y con ingresos. La comunidad internacional de Mondragon Team Academy está formada por más de 3.000 emprendedores y emprendedoras, con más de 120 empresas de equipos creados en LEINN.
