The Basque Agency for Internationalization has participated with the Euskadi Basque Country stand at the mechanical and subcontracting fair, MECFOR, together with Talleres Etxepe, Izadi Mecanizados and Norclamp, and the AFM-Advanced Manufacturing Technologies cluster. This is the first edition of the fair that, after several cancellations due to the pandemic, has been able to open its doors in the city of Parma (Italy) from May 24 to 26.
The fair presented a complete offer of machinery and technology to companies interested in outsourcing part of their activity. In addition to this event, the Italian Fair for Intelligent, Digital and Flexible Industry, SPS, was also held.
The Italian machine tool industry, including robotics and automation systems, has experienced a strong recovery in 2021 after the fall in the main economic indicators recorded in 2020. According to data prepared by the Italian association of producers of machine tools, robots and automation systems UCIMU -Sistemi per Produrre, the industry has recorded double-digit increases in all key economic indicators. Thus, in 2021 industrial production has reached a value of €6.33 billion, up 22.2% compared to 2020.
However, the lack of raw materials that has characterized 2021 and the first months of 2022, has been accentuated during the last few weeks because of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and the strict anti-Covid measures adopted in the city of Shanghai, which threaten the operability of transport and the industrial system of one of the most industrialized areas of China.
La Agencia Vasca de Internacionalización ha participado con el stand Euskadi Basque Country en la feria de mecánica y subcontratación, MECFOR, junto a Talleres Etxepe, Izadi Mecanizados y Norclamp, y al clúster AFM-Advanced Manufacturing Technologies. Se trata de la primera edición de la feria que, tras varias cancelaciones a causa de la pandemia, ha podido abrir sus puertas en la ciudad de Parma (Italia) del 24 al 26 de mayo.
La feria ha presentado una oferta completa de maquinaria y tecnología a las empresas interesadas en externalizar parte de su actividad. Junto a este evento se ha también celebrado la Feria Italiana de la Industria Inteligente, Digital y Flexible, SPS.
La industria italiana de la máquina-herramienta, incluyendo la robótica y los sistemas de automatización, ha experimentado una fuerte recuperación en el 2021 tras la caída de los principales indicadores económicos registrada en 2020. Según los datos elaborados por la asociación italiana de productores de máquina-herramienta, robots y sistemas de automatización UCIMU –Sistemi per Produrre, la industria ha registrado incrementos de dos dígitos en todos los indicadores económicos clave. Así, en el año 2021 la producción industrial ha alcanzado un valor de 6.330 millones de euros, un 22,2% por encima respecto al 2020.
Sin embargo, la falta de materias primas que ha caracterizado el 2021 y los primeros meses del 2022, se ha acentuado durante las últimas semanas a causa del conflicto entre Rusia y Ucrania y de las estrictas medidas anti-Covid adoptadas en la ciudad de Shanghai, que amenazan la operatividad de los transportes y del sistema industrial de una de las zonas más industrializadas de China.
