BIEMH, the International Biennial Machine Tool Fair, kicks off the advanced manufacturing calendar from March 2nd to 6th at the BEC, Bilbao Exhibition Centre. This event will bring together 1,503 exhibiting companies from 34 countries and will showcase more than 3,350 innovative products.
With 33 editions and over six decades of history, the fair maintains its position as a leading event for the most influential companies, professionals, and organizations in the sector worldwide, who come in search of cutting-edge technology, comprehensive solutions, and new opportunities for collaboration and business.
This year, BIEMH will occupy all six halls of the BEC and will offer a complete sector-specific representation of the main industrial areas: machining equipment, tools and accessories, welding, metrology, components, forming machinery, sheet and tube cutting, as well as surface treatment solutions. It will be a dynamic space, with technology in operation, showcasing the industry in action. Automation, robotics, and digitalization will also have a prominent area, reflecting the evolution toward more efficient, flexible, and interconnected production models.
Alongside the trade exhibition, BIEMH 2026 will offer an extensive program of events focused on analyzing trends, sharing knowledge, and fostering high-level networking, reinforcing its role as a strategic platform for addressing current challenges.
Under the motto “CARPE BIEMH,” this 33rd edition of the event invites exhibiting companies, visitors, and organizations to seize the moment, highlighting once again its capacity to offer a truly spectacular live industrial and technological showcase that continues to surprise year after year.
The official opening will take place next Monday, March 2, at 12:00 noon, presided over by the Lehendakari (President of the Basque Government), Imanol Pradales.
