A total of 55 startups have been selected to respond to the new technological challenges posed by 22 industrial SMEs, belonging to the automotive, energy, environment and advanced manufacturing clusters.
Un total de 55 startups han resultado seleccionadas para responder a los nuevos retos tecnológicos planteados por 22 pymes industriales, pertenecientes a los clústeres de los sectores de automoción, energía, medio ambiente y fabricación avanzada.
This is the new initiative BIND 4.0 SME Connection, promoted by the Basque Government, through the SPRI Group, which has received in this call more than 130 applications. The selection corresponds to 36 Basque startups (8 from Araba, 16 from Gipuzkoa and 12 from Bizkaia), 13 firms from Spain and 6 from other countries.
This new initiative of the open innovation platform BIND 4.0 has published the list of startups that have offered “tailor-made” disruptive technologies to respond to the technological challenges posed by the Cluster Dynamizing Organizations (ODCs) Uptek (AFM), Aclima, Clúster energía and Acicae.
BIND 4.0 SME Connection is a new public-private initiative created in collaboration with industry cluster dynamizing organizations and SMEs of reference in the Basque Country. This program has three main objectives: to promote the competitive improvement and transformation of Basque industrial SMEs through collaboration with startups (open innovation), to facilitate startups’ access to the market with projects that respond to the current challenges of consolidated industrial SMEs and, finally, to include startups in the Basque Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem.

Se trata de la nueva iniciativa BIND 4,0 SME Connection, promovida por el Gobierno Vasco, a través del Grupo SPRI, que ha recibido en esta convocatoria más de 130 candidaturas. La selección corresponde a 36 startups vascas (8 de Araba, 16 de Gipuzkoa y 12 de Bizkaia), 13 firmas de España y 6 que proceden de otros países.
Esta nueva iniciativa de la plataforma de innovación abierta BIND 4.0 ha publicado la lista de las startups que han ofrecido tecnologías disruptivas “a la medida” para responder a los retos tecnológicos planteados por las Organizaciones Dinamizadoras de Clústeres, (ODCs) Uptek (AFM), Aclima, Clúster energía y Acicae.
BIND 4.0 SME Connection es una nueva iniciativa público-privada creada en colaboración con las organizaciones dinamizadoras de clústeres de la industria y con pymes de referencia del País Vasco. Este programa tiene tres objetivos principales: impulsar la mejora competitiva y transformación de pymes industriales vascas a través de la colaboración con startups (innovación abierta), facilitar a las startups el acceso al mercado con proyectos que den respuesta a los retos actuales de pymes industriales consolidadas y, por último, incluir a las startups en el Ecosistema Vasco de Emprendimiento e Innovación.
