Its furnaces, boilers and industrial chimneys reach Europe and America. The company works with 3D technology, committed to innovation.
Gabotek, a Basque company dedicated to the manufacture of industrial equipment goods, has increased its presence abroad in recent years. Specialised in piping, boilermaking and welding, they focus on singular projects. They manufacture in different materials for steam industries, chemical plants, biochemical plants… Casting furnaces (aluminium and copper), chimneys, industrial steam boilers and industrial refrigeration equipment are their specialities.
“We have been growing progressively thanks to our customers in the international market. Our parts now reach Europe and America”, explains Iker García, the company’s manager.
Much of their work also reaches the wind energy sector. They have recently collaborated on the DemoSATH project, the floating platform prototype developed by the Saitec Offshore Technologies engineering company. This offshore wind turbine was recently installed off the coast of Bizkaia.

Its methodology and work process adapts to changes and to the specific needs of each client. “We are a medium-sized boilermaker that has been in business for 6 years, although we have almost 30 years of experience in the sector. As a young company, we are more open-minded and we dare to innovate and do what the customer asks for. We work hand in hand with them, creating the piece from the beginning according to their guidelines. This is what differentiates us from other boilermakers”, says Iker.
Another of their strong points is that they carry out the entire process at their facilities, from the initial design phase to delivery to the customer. In fact, they are planning to double the size of their facilities in order to be able to deal with more space for new projects in the future. They currently have a manufacturing capacity of around 8,000 square metres, 3,000 square metres outdoors and 5,000 square metres in warehouses.
