Over the next two years, the Basque Government plans to create 4 more delegations on the European continent.
Para los próximos dos años el Gobierno vasco planea crear 4 delegaciones más en el continente Europeo.
Of the 7 international offices that the Basque Government currently has, only two are located in Europe (Madrid and Brussels) and the rest are accumulated in America (New York, Mexico, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile and Bogota).
Therefore, the next four delegations will be located on the European continent. The first will be in Paris and will be followed by three others for which the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Finland and Denmark have applied.
The aim of opening these offices is to support Basque organisations (companies, universities, technology centres, etc.) in their internationalisation processes. The delegations are staffed by people who know the country and therefore how work is done there and the channels for approaching an institution.
The aim of this initiative is not only to ensure that Basque organisations are successful, but also to raise awareness of the potential of the Basque Country abroad.

De las 7 oficinas internacionales que tiene hoy en día el Gobierno vasco solo dos están situadas en Europa (Madrid y Bruselas) y las demás están acumuladas en América (Nueva York, México, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile y Bogotá).
Por lo tanto, las 4 siguientes delegaciones estarán situadas en el continente europeo. La primera en París y la seguirán otras tres a las cuales se han presentan como candidatos Reino Unido, Italia, Alemania, Suecia, Finlandia y Dinamarca.
Con la apertura de estas oficinas se pretende acompañar a las organizaciones vascas (empresas, universidades, centros tecnológicos…) en sus procesos de internacionalización. Las delegaciones cuentan con personal que conoce el país y por tanto cómo se trabaja allí y los canales para acercarse a una institución.
Con ésta iniciativa se busca no sólo que las organizaciones vascas tengan éxito, sino también servirá para dar a conocer el potencial de Euskadi fuera.
