The Basque Government has accompanied the Basque companies
El Gobierno vasco ha acompañado a las empresas vascas
The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mikel Amundarain, the General Manager of the SPRI Group, Aitor Urzelai, and the Director of Industry and Energy Transition, Ana Camacho, have accompanied the Basque companies present at the main European Industry Fair, the Hannover Messe, which has taken place in the German city of Hannover. During their stay at the event, the representatives of the Basque Government held meetings with German industrial representatives from the energy sector, as well as with members of the Bavarian Government.
The Basque presence at Hannover Messe has been repeated with an upward trend for several years and it was there where the Department of Economic Development and SPRI Group unveiled the Basque Industry 4.0 strategy, which received praise and recognition from EU bodies and from the President of the European Commission herself, Ursula Von der Leyen, who in October 2020 used as an example the digitalization policy developed by the Basque Government through its Basque Digital Innovation Hub (BDIH) project, making specific mention of the Basque initiative to support digital transformation during her speech at the plenary session of the Committee of the Regions.
Amundarain and Urzelai have stayed in Hannover on May 31 and June 1 and among other issues have visited and met with representatives of several of the Basque companies present at the event, to name a few, Ingeteam Power Technology, Iberdrola, Lesol, Iraundi, Pronutec and Merytronic of the Gorlan Group, Fanox Electronic, Subcontex, Polifluor, as well as Talleres Arreche and Ugarteburu at the stand of the Gipuzkoa Chamber of Commerce.
They also met with the German Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (DWV), and visited and learned about the presence in Hannover of the prestigious Fraunhofer Institute for Machine Tools and Technology, the Bavarian Innovative Bayern, the Lower Saxony Region Hydrogen Network (Niedersächsiches Wasserstoff-Netzwerk), and the German Federal Industry 4.0 Platform.
Hannover Messe is the world’s largest industrial trade fair. It is held in Hannover, Germany, annually and attracts around 6,000 exhibitors and 200,000 visitors.
El Viceconsejero de Industria, Mikel Amundarain, el Director General del Grupo SPRI, Aitor Urzelai, y la Directora de Industria y Transición Energética, Ana Camacho, han acompañado a las empresas vascas presentes en la principal Feria Europea de la Industria, la Hannover Messe que ha tenido lugar en dicha ciudad alemana. Durante su estancia en el evento, los representantes del Gobierno Vasco han celebrado reuniones con representantes industriales alemanes del sector energético, así como con miembros del Gobierno de Baviera.
La presencia vasca en Hannover Messe se ha venido repitiendo con tendencia alcista desde hace varios años y fue allí donde el Departamento de Desarrollo Económico y Grupo SPRI dieron a conocer la estrategia Basque Industry 4.0 que recibió alabanzas y reconocimiento en instancias comunitarias y por parte de la propia presidenta de la Comisión Europea, Ursula Von der Leyen quien en octubre de 2020 puso como ejemplo la política de digitalización que desarrolla el Gobierno de Euskadi a través de su proyecto Basque Digital Innovation Hub (BDIH) haciendo una mención específica a la iniciativa vasca de apoyo a la transformación digital durante su intervención en el pleno del Comité de las Regiones.
Amundarain y Urzelai han permanecido en Hannover los días 31 de mayo y 1 de junio y entre otras cuestiones han visitado y se han reunido con representantes de varias de las empresas vascas presentes en el evento, Por citar algunas, Ingeteam Power Technology, Iberdrola, Lesol, Iraundi, Pronutec y Merytronic del Grupo Gorlan, Fanox Electronic, dentro del stand de la Cámara de Comercio de Gipuzkoa a Subcontex, Polifluor, así como Talleres Arreche y Ugarteburu.
Además se han reunido con la Asociación Alemana de Hidrógeno y Pilas de Combustible (DWV), y han visitado y conocido la presencia en Hannover del prestigioso Instituto Fraunhofer para Máquinas-Herramienta y Tecnología, el Baviera Bayern Innovative, la Red de Hidrógeno de la Región de la Baja Sajonia (Niedersächsiches Wasserstoff-Netzwerk), y la Plataforma Industria 4.0 Federal Alemana.
La Feria de Hannover Hannover Messe es la feria industrial más grande del mundo. Se realiza en Hannover, Alemania, anualmente y atrae a cerca de 6.000 expositores y 200.000 visitantes.
