The Be Basque Talent Conference (BBTC) is back after the end of the pandemic. Over the course of a full day the conference will gather together in Dusseldorf highly qualified professionals who are currently developing their careers in the German city and its surroundings, together with Basque companies, human resources consultancy firms and technological centres. The event, which is organised by Bizkaia Talent and sponsored by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and the Basque Government’s business development agency SPRI Group, will provide a forum for the building of relationships in an atmosphere of trust.
The Be Basque Talent Conference aims to create meeting spaces between companies searching for talent and talent which is currently residing abroad. On the one hand, it will offer to the professionals who attend the event the opportunity to discover in person the socio-economic and scientific-technological situation of the Basque Country today, obtain information about labour market trends and meet organisations which are looking to incorporate talent within their teams. On the other hand, it will provide these organisations with a unique opportunity to meet professionals with high level capabilities and extensive international experience.
Throughout the course of the day the professionals will be provided with a personalised agenda and they will be able to listen to company presentations, share their ideas and opinions in an open discussion forum, attend theme-based workshops and have one-to-one meetings with company representatives. Furthermore, there will be a personalised networking lunch which will provide them with contact with other professionals and organisations taking part in the conference.
Twelve editions over fifteen years
The Be Basque Talent Conference was first held in 2008, and Munich was the city which hosted this first edition. Since then, there have been eleven further editions of the event held in the following European cities: Barcelona, Stuttgart, Hannover, Toulouse, Amsterdam, Dublin, London, Hamburg, Munich and Paris. Up to the present time some 760 professionals and 73 organisations have taken part in all the editions of the event.

Tras el fin de la pandemia, vuelve Be Basque Talent Conference (BBTC). Durante un día entero, la conferencia reunirá en Dusseldorf a profesionales altamente cualificados que desarrollan su carrera en la ciudad germana y alrededores, así como a empresas vascas, consultorías de recursos humanos y centros tecnológicos. El evento, organizado por Bizkaia Talent y patrocinado por la Diputación Foral de Bizkaia y el Grupo SPRI del Gobierno Vasco, servirá para entablar relaciones profesionales en un ambiente de confianza.
Be Basque Talent Conference busca crear espacios de encuentro entre las empresas que buscan talento, y el talento que reside en el exterior. Por una parte, ofrece a los profesionales que se acercan al evento conocer de cerca la situación socioeconómica y científico-tecnológica del País Vasco, obtener información sobre las tendencias del mercado laboral, y reunirse con organizaciones que buscan incorporar talento a sus equipos. Por otra parte, brinda a esas organizaciones una oportunidad única de conocer profesionales con capacidades de alto nivel y un amplio bagaje internacional.
A lo largo de la jornada, los profesionales contarán con una agenda personalizada y tendrán la ocasión de escuchar presentaciones de las empresas, compartir ideas y opiniones en un foro de debate abierto, asistir a talleres temáticos y mantener reuniones individuales con representantes de las organizaciones. Quince años y doce ediciones
Be Basque Talent Conference se celebró por primera vez en el año 2008, siendo Múnich la ciudad que acogió la primera edición de la conferencia. Desde entonces, se han celebrado once ediciones en las siguientes ciudades europeas: Barcelona, Stuttgart, Hannover, Toulouse, Ámsterdam, Dublín, Londres, Hamburgo, Múnich, Londres y París. Egun oso batez, biltzarrak lan-ibilbidea hiri alemaniarrean eta inguruetan garatzen ari diren eta goi-mailako prestakuntza duten profesionalak bilduko ditu Düsseldorfen, bai eta euskal enpresak, giza baliabideen aholkularitza-enpresak eta zentro teknologikoak ere.
